ur surgeon will probably excise the cyst as if it is simply drained it will most likely recur (as baker's cyst has an abnormal connection to ur knee joint, the fluid in that cyst is the same fluid which is lubricating the knee joint). u will be given a spinal block anesthesia so u wont feel any pain. u will most like temporarily stop ur rehab during the healing process.
