In the movie that Patriot. Does Mel Gibson paint his face at all throughout the movie.?

MY dad and I are having a small quarrel over the movie the patriot. WE know that in the movie Braveheart Mel Gibson paints his face. My dad thinks he also paints his face in the movie the patriot. Can someone give me a second opinion? or even something proving that Mel Gibson doesn't paint throughtout the entire movie?
