How much welfare fraud is there?

I have researched this and every source says the same thing. It amounts to 2%. Couldn't we save more money by cleaning out the fraud in the Pentagon. The poor does not have any money we need to go after the deep pockets. Why are the Republicans demonizing the poor, the sick, the disabled and the elderly?
