I have an old upright freezer in a small bedroom. Would an occupant be in any danger at all please?

I am ignorant as to whether or not any gases or other obnoxious fumes could possibly permeate the air and "poison" anyone using said bedroom. Please inform so I can relax or warn me so I can take actions. Thanking you in anticipation.
